RESPONSIBILITIES
William L. Selden (Bill) is a managing partner of Sterling Investment Partners. He was a cofounder of Sterling's predecessor in 1991, and is involved in all aspects of the firm's investment activities, including sourcing opportunities, negotiating and structuring transactions, and working with management teams after Sterling's investment. Bill serves on the board of Sterling's portfolio companies Miller Heiman and FCX Performance, Inc., and is a past Chairman of American Buildings Company, Aavid Thermal Technologies, Inc., Sterling/EOM (Euro Outlet Malls, L.P.), Washington Inventory Service, Tidewater Holdings, Inc and USM.

EXPERIENCE
Bill was previously a managing director at Shearson Lehman Brothers. Earlier, Bill was vice president of Eastdil Realty Inc. and CFO of Sunbelt Communications.
