Bill is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Sterling Investment Partners. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities, including sourcing opportunities, negotiating and structuring transactions, and working with management teams after Sterling’s initial investment. Bill currently serves as Chairman of Aurora Parts and Accessories, Service Logic and Power Stop and as a board member of Belnick LLC. Bill was Co-Chairman of the Board of Lazer Spot, Inc. and is a past board member of Aavid Thermal Technologies, Inc., The CBORD Group, Inc., FCX Performance, Inc., GPX International Tire, Survey Sampling International, The Kenan Advantage Group, Inc., Tidewater Holdings and U.S. Shipping Partners.
Prior to co-founding Sterling, Bill was a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Inc. and was a Managing Director of Asian Oceanic Group, a merchant bank headquartered in Hong Kong focused on cross-border transactions between the U.S. and Asia. Bill started his career practicing corporate law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.
Bill is a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, Connecticut and chairs St. Luke’s Financial Affairs Committee. Bill is also a member of the Advisory Board of Norwalk Grass Roots Tennis, a nonprofit organization that provides after school programs to inner-city children of Norwalk, Connecticut.
